Inspiring Future Generations
At Puerto Rico Eco Park, we firmly believe that education is the first step toward creating meaningful change in how we interact with the environment. We are proud to actively participate in educational initiatives aimed at inspiring and shaping future generations.
On May 5, 2023, our General Manager, Aslin Santiago, together with the Mayor of Vega Baja, Marcos Cruz, led the 1st School Recycling Competition in the Municipality of Vega Baja. This event was a milestone in promoting recycling as a daily habit and an essential tool for environmental conservation.
Recycling as a Core Value
Recycling is more than just an action—it’s a commitment to the responsibility of preserving natural resources and reducing environmental impact. Through this competition, students from various schools learned about the importance of recycling while having fun and actively participating in activities that promote environmental stewardship.
A Greener Future for Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico Eco Park remains dedicated to its mission of educating and empowering communities to adopt sustainable practices. Events like the 1st School Recycling Competition demonstrate that together we can inspire positive change and create an environmental legacy that benefits future generations.
Thank you to everyone who participated and supported this initiative! Let’s continue working together for a cleaner and more sustainable Puerto Rico.
