In collaboration with the municipalities, we have developed an independent recycling program to reduce waste disposal in the landfill of the Municipality of Vega Baja. La Vega Landfill and the Municipality of Vega Baja in 2011, agreed an Order of Consent (OC) with the EPA to develop residential recycling programs, which include schools and communities.

In 2015, the collaboration with the Municipality of Vega Baja we developed a recycling program in the landfill facilities of Juana Díaz. Currently our landfills divert green waste, metal waste among others as part of the reduction and reuse program. Collaborating and complying with federal and state environmental agencies.
